ISAAC ZUERCHER
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Isaac ZuercherA native of Crossville, TN, Isaac worked his way through high school and college, learning the construction trade from his father. After graduating from Tennessee Tech’s College of Business in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration, he became a licensed general contractor that same year, and co-founded Zurich Homes.

 

In addition to oversight of day to day operations, Isaac’s responsibilities at Zurich Homes include strategic planning, new product design development and working collaboratively with Zurich Homes’ staff to achieve superior client satisfaction.

“I especially enjoy working with our clients, designers and construction managers to ensure each project meets its full potential,” he said. “Added value through quality design is my goal for each client.”

In addition to serving as a board member of the Cumberland County Homebuilder’s Association, Isaac was named to Professional Builder Magazine’s 40 Under 40 List in 2014. He has also lent his construction expertise to many local Habitat for Humanity projects.

Isaac loves the outdoors, taking every chance he can to enjoy Tennessee’s many beautiful kayaking, hiking and climbing opportunities. When he isn’t exploring local sites, he has enjoyed extensive travel and mountaineering, including Mt. Shasta, The Grand Teton and Ecuador’s Cotopaxi.


MICAH ZUERCHER
VP OF OPERATIONS, NASHVILLE

Micah ZuercherMicah learned the construction trade from his family while growing up in Crossville, TN and working his way through both high school and college. Upon graduation from Tennessee Tech, with a degree in Finance, Micah began his career in with top national homebuilding firm as a Project Manager in Nashville. Early in his career, he earned numerous awards based on excellence in customer satisfaction, leadership and budget management.

 

Micah’s commitment to excellence afforded him the opportunity to join a custom homebuilding company in Nashville, where he was a Project Manager and led teams on several highly custom residential projects. To round out his construction experience, Micah spent 3 years in commercial construction as a Project Manager and Estimator. Over the past decade, Micah has worked on numerous high profile residential and commercial projects throughout Middle Tennessee, completing over 150 projects during his tenure in the industry.

Micah joined Zurich Homes in 2014 to lead Zurich Homes’ construction operations in the Nashville market. He oversees day to day operations including new product design and client management. “I am excited about the opportunity to bring the Zurich Homes experience to Nashville. I take pride in our client-focused approach and designing a superior and unique home to bring our clients’ visions to life”.


PAULA MILLER
OFFICE MANAGER

Originally from Texas, Paula has lived in Tennessee for eight years, and was the first Zurich Homes employee. Clients will appreciate her fantastic organizational skills, a product of her three decades of accounting experience, most of which were spent in the construction industry.

 

A proud mother and grandmother, she has been married to her husband, a general contractor himself, for 31 years. In her spare time, she enjoys boating and camping with family and friends.


NATE EICHOLTZ - ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Born and raised in the small Michigan town of Pinckney, Nate lived and worked in New York City and Pennsylvania before moving to Cookeville, TN over eight years ago. The third generation of home builders in his family, Nate began designing homes at a young age. It was no surprise, by the time he graduated high school he already gained three years of drafting experience.  

 

Twenty years of building and design experience have prepared him well for his current position as Architectural Designer at Zurich Homes. Nate’s goal is to consistently provide home designs that fit clients’ needs and wants, while incorporating new and fresh ideas and livability. Possessing a hands-on approach, Nate personally meets with each client throughout the building process, from pre-contract, through design, and during construction to ensure superior design and execution.

“I want to give clients the Zurich experience,” Nate said. “The stress-free feeling of designing and building a custom home that they will enjoy for years to come.”

When he steps away from the construction site, Nate enjoys spending time with Lisa, his wife of 13 years, and their children, Summer and Gavin. Always keeping an active lifestyle, Nate enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, including basketball, volleyball and skiing. One day, he plans to take his family on a European vacation for a chance to capitalize on the architectural inspiration it has to offer.

STAN ZUERCHER
FOUNDER & VP OF CONSTRUCTION

Stan ZuercherOriginally from Smithville, Ohio, Stan has lived in Crossville with his wife Kim for the past 35 years. His life-long involvement in construction began while still in Ohio, working for his father’s electrical contracting business. With extensive experience in electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, as well as general construction, Stan was prepared for his role as founder of Zuercher Electric, a successful electrical contracting company based on Crossville, TN which he owned and operated for 24 years. In 2005, Stan sold Zuercher Electric to start a new venture in homebuilding with his son, Isaac, forming Zurich Homes.

 

As Founder & VP of Construction, Stan’s responsibilities consist of overseeing day-to-day operations of construction, contractor scheduling, and project management. “I have always worked to provide our clients with a quality product at a superior value that they enjoy calling home,” he said.

In his spare time, Stan enjoys woodworking, reading, cycling and spending time with Kim, his wife of 36 years, or any of his four adult children.


ANDREW PERRY
PROJECT MANAGER

Raised just outside of Macon, Georgia, Andrew Perry has called Tennessee home since 2001. A 16-year veteran of the construction industry, Andrew is an expert in finishing touches. As project manager for Zurich Homes, he is responsible for overseeing sub-contractors, material supply and on-site management.  

 

For Andrew, this means keeping two primary goals in mind: “I am dedicated to providing our customers not only with an excellent product in a timely manner,” he said, “but also to cultivate a low-stress and friendly relationship with them.”

As the father of seven children, Andrew knows a thing or two about managing potentially stressful situations. When he is off the job site, he enjoys working in the family garden with Hope, his wife of 15 years, and their children, as well as hunting and football.


BEN FLEER
PROJECT & WARRANTY MANAGER

Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, Ben graduated from Tennessee Tech with a degree in Health and Physical Education, and has lived in the area for the past five years. Ben has a unique perspective due to his diverse instruction background, he worked everywhere from Space Camp to Redcliff in Southern Utah.

 

Responsibilities with Zurich Homes include scheduling, ordering, on-site project management and overseeing warranty work for existing clients.

An avid athlete, Ben enjoys running, cross fit, and can even point you to the best rock-climbing spots in the area. In his rare down-time, he enjoys the fiction of Orson Scott Card, Robert Jordan and Robin Hobb.


DARLENE RUSSO
BUILDER REPRESENTATIVE & AFFILIATE BROKER

Hailing from Indiana, Darlene spent most of her life in Florida before moving to Tennessee in 2003. She has been involved in real estate sales, investments and home construction over thirty years. Exclusively representing Zurich Homes, clients can expect to directly benefit from her wealth of knowledge and experience. From first contact through homesite and design selection, Darlene consults Zurich Homes’ clients through the entire home-building process.  

 

Her personal interests are as varied as her skills, with a mixture of writing, reading, interior design and gardening filling her personal time.
